Orlando Runners Club

The Orlando Runners Club is a non-profit social running club that was established in 1976.  We are managed by a volunteer Board of Directors who meet monthly to discuss and decide on various matters of Club business. Throughout the month we have several group runs, ranging from 3 - 5 mile runs during the week to our Sunday morning long run. All ages and paces are welcome to our events and gatherings. You can join the Orlando Runners Club which serves the Central Florida running community. The ORC is constantly working to provide its members with opportunities to become fit, healthy and active while enjoying the camaraderie and friendship with those who participate in this great sport of running.

Club History

The Orlando Runners Club was founded in 1976 at a front porch gathering of running friends. Shortly thereafter, an 11 mile running route was measured out starting in Winter Park, and that course has hosted club members, as well as non-members and visiting guests every Sunday for over 35 years. The Club promotes a healthy running lifestyle and provides an avenue for area runners to meet and socialize.

The Orlando Runners Club, Inc., is a non-profit organization. All funds are used to finance operation costs, club events, charitable activities, and club equipment purchases.  We are managed by a volunteer Board of Directors who meet monthly to discuss and decide on various matters of Club business.

ORC Board

Board members are elected for two year terms with half of the team turning over every year.
